Style Assistant

Meher O Style is seeking an assistant to help with the day to day tasks of the styling business. You will be the “right hand” when it comes to servicing clients and running the business. You will jump in to help style clients, shop, place orders, unpack clothing, prep it for session, handle returns, and anything else that may arise. You will get first hand experience of how to work for and with a personal stylist.

Tasks Include:

  • Shopping

  • Lookbook creation

  • Session Prep

  • Assist during client sessions

  • Closet documentation

  • Detailed note taking during client sessions

  • Managing social media accounts

  • Editing blog content

  • Managing business landing page

  • Helping with outreach

Skills:

  • Photography (photographing outfit layouts or instagram content with your phone)

  • Extreme attention to detail

  • Tech savvy

  • Self-Starter

  • Ability to work efficiently and succinctly

  • Google Docs (i.e. google slides, spreadsheets etc.)

  • Natural eye for style and outfit making

  • Excellent written and communication skills

Requirements:

  • Meher O Style services clients throughout the Chicagoland area. Having access to a car or another mode of transportation is a must. Not only for client appointments, but any and all in person shopping.

  • Open availability- client appointments can be scheduled any day of the week Monday- Sunday, during the day and at night.
